There’s just absolutely way too much going on inside this oh’ so mysterious mind of mine- www.cayleypozza.wordpress.com is a gateway into the crazy, beautiful, delicious, & downright odd, life I call mine. Step into my everyday thoughts on beauty, travel, food, fashion, mommy-hood, music & of course- all things eco-friendly!
How long have you been blogging?
Oh gosh, I would say probably 7 years! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun.
Have You Seen Changes in Blogging within the past few years?
Heck yes! Obviously social media has grown like wildfire in the past few years, which has helped bloggers like myself, market their blog more efficiently & effectively. Coming from the world of PR, clients are targeting blogs over print media- as the blogs tend to be more consumer-friendly and the reader finds blogging sources to be more credible, as the ad isn’t paid nor is it “sugar-coated” – which can work with you or against you. It always comes down- “Is there really a such thing as bad PR?”.
Who Influences You The Most In Style?
I don’t believe in that whole “wear what is comfortable.” Pain is beauty girls! Did you really think those 5 inch Jimmy Choo pumps were comfortable? But they looked fabulous! It’s always about making a statement & expressing yourself. I try to always accessorize, because my clothing staples are pretty minimal. Even if I’m just wearing a white tank & denim shorts- I pair it up with an arm-full of bangles & gladiator sandals. Don’t get me wrong- on my lazy days, you’ll find me in my Lulu’s & a trusty Billabong hoody. If I could steal anyone’s style right now- it would be Bachelorette, Emily Maynard! But of course, who wouldn’t? Apparently, the season’s clothing budget was more than $300,000!
What piece of clothing/beauty item can’t you live without?
I cannot live without mascara, Yes to Tomatoes organic face wash and my Tropic Spa Home Mist Spray Tanning Unit- I’m addicted to spray tanning. End of story.
Online Shopping or Brick & Mortar Stores?
Both. I try to not get too involved in online shopping, because I’ll overspend. I like the experience of going to little boutiques, or venturing to a shopping mall- but I do loathe trying things on. Sad to say, but I’m more likely to purchase the item without trying it on at all. If it doesn’t fit when I get home- my lucky friends & family inherit the purchase.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I love hearing about new products, contests, coupons (yes, I’m trying to master this new trend) and events. Priority to all things related to: Glee, green tea, animal-free moccasins and old architecture.
